I have been seeing Dr. Hesla since I was young and each visit is always a really good experience. Dr. Hesla completes a very thorough exam and takes time to explain everything. I like the selection of glasses that they stock and the staff are incredibly helpful in helping me find the perfect pair.

Dr. Hesla has been our optometrist for 12 years. We recently saw him at his temporary clinic within DOIG Optometry on Macleod Trail and had another great experience. The staff was wonderful and helped me find some new frames that I love.

Dr. Hesla has been an angel to our family. He saw my mother last year on an emergency basis and found a retinal detachment. The specialist said she could have lost her vision if he hadn’t referred so quickly. We are all so thankful for his quick action.

As a First Nations person who attended residential school, I found Dr. Hesla to be very understanding of my culture and the negative experiences I had while at school. I found him to be very thorough and compassionate throughout my exam. I would definitely refer Dr. Hesla to other Indigenous people.
